The Mississippi Aquarium is set to invite children the chance to spend the night during the “ZZZ’s by the Sea” event once again, with four sessions set to be offered throughout 2023.
During the sleepovers, children ages five to 12 will be able to participate in educational activities, crafts, games, a meet and greet with an aquarium ambassador animal, a camp-styled evening snack, and a continental breakfast.
Attendees will also be given a commemorative patch and free admission into the aquarium for the following day.
Ticketholders will be invited to stay in one of the several galleries in the aquarium’s Aquatic Wonders exhibit, including the Swirl Tank, Shark Window, Big Window, and Grouper and Eel Grotto.
The aquarium has stated that participants ages 12 and older are also welcome to attend the overnight, however, activities are designed around elementary and middle school-aged students.
Each child will be required to be accompanied by an adult to stay overnight.
Tickets for the sessions, which are $59.95 per person, will be sold for March 10-11, April 7-8, May 5-6, and September 8-9.
