Central Mississippi will be going crazy about a sharp-dressed man with legendary rock band ZZ Top announcing that they will be performing at the Brandon Amphitheater.
On Wednesday, March 20, classic rock junkies will have the opportunity to hear the iconic group perform some of its biggest hits including, “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” and “Tush” at the outdoor venue.
ZZ Top, whose members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has won three MTV Video Music Awards. The band is known for its charitable work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and was influential in raising money in a fundraiser for the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale.
Joining ZZ Top during the night of classic tunes will be Rick Carter, an Alabama Troubadour best known for his work with the band Rollin’ in the Hay, as well as Johnny Fontana, an up-and-coming rocker.
Tickets for the upcoming concert will go on sale on Friday, January 12 at 10 a.m. and will be made available here or at the amphitheater’s box office
