As we continue to track what, if any, impact Hurricane Helene might have on Mississippi, Wednesday’s forecast looks to be another mix of both sun and rain. Here’s the latest from the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi
After some cloudy skies in the morning, the sun should come out. There will be a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms during the day and into the night. Highs will be in the upper 70s before dropping into the lower 60s after sundown.
Central Mississippi
A party sunny day could be rained on with a chance of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will remain near 80 with lows in the lower 60s. The possibility of rain will continue into the night.
Southern Mississippi
The sunshine should be out in full force with some pop-up showers possible here and there. Temperatures will be in the 80s before dropping into the 60s come nightfall. There will be another chance of rain after the sun goes down.
