Southern Mississippi
Today will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 50s. There’s a chance of rain, sleet, and freezing rain overnight with lows in the upper 30s.
A wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain is likely late Thursday afternoon through Friday in central and northern Mississippi. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, heavy snow is possible across northern portions of our state. That will lead to hazardous driving conditions and could impact utilities.
