As the southern part of Mississippi continues to thaw out after historic snowfall earlier in the week, the entire state should see sunshine on Thursday. Here’s your forecast from the National Weather Service.
Northern Mississippi
Sunshine is forecast all day with highs in the mid 40s. Chilly winds are expected during the morning hours. Lows will drop into the 20s come nighttime.
Central Mississippi
Highs could near 50 degrees as the sun is expected to stick around for most of the day. After nightfall, lows will drop into the mid 20s.
Southern Mississippi
Highs will get back up to around 45 degrees as the sunshine works to thaw out the remains of Winter Storm Enzo. After the sun goes down, temperatures will too and land somewhere between 20 and 30 degrees.
