North Mississippi
In north Mississippi, skies should be clear with highs in the low 80s. There might be some patchy fog after midnight with overnight lows settling in the mid-50s.
Central Mississippi
After a little fog in the early morning hours, the sun will come out with highs set to reach the upper 80s. The National Weather Service warns that areas of smoke could be visible in both the afternoon and evening. Lows tonight will be in the upper 50s.
South Mississippi
In the southern portion of the state, the highest temperature reading of the day could reach the low 90s. After a sunny afternoon, overnight lows will be in the 60s.
