Central Mississippi

It will be mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms today. Highs will be in the lower 90s with heat index readings from 105-110. Tonight will be partly cloudy with more showers and thunderstorms possible. Lows will be in the mid-70s.

Southern Mississippi

It will be partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 90s with heat index readings between 105 and 110. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms and lows in the mid-70s.


High heat and humidity will result in significant heat stress, especially this weekend, with heat index values peaking above 110F across portions of the northwest Delta, while above 105F elsewhere.
