Showers and thunderstorms are possible today, and some thunderstorms could be severe. Highs will be in the lower to mid-70s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms, some thunderstorms may be severe. Lows will be in the mid-40s.
Southern Mississippi
Showers and thunderstorms are possible today, and some of those thunderstorms could be severe. Highs will be in the lower 80s. You can expect more of the same tonight, with lows in the mid-50s.
According to the National Weather Service, severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds and tornadoes are possible today, mainly from midday through the evening hours. Multiple rounds of heavy rain are expected tonight, and that could result in flash flooding and minor to moderate river flooding in the coming days.
