JACKSON, Miss. – If you’re a parent, you’re probably not surprised to find out that apples are more-likely-than-not your kids favorite fruit.
According to a new study by the U.S. national center for health statistics, youngsters are head of heals for apples.
The study found that of all the fruit consumed by kids, 20 percent of that is said to be apples.
When you include apple juice that number jumps to 30 percent.
The second most popular fruit among young adults, bananas.
