The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has confirmed that the suspect wanted for the quadruple killing in Yazoo City this morning is in custody.
Briddell Barber was wanted for quadruple homicide. He’s a black male, 27 years old, black hair, brown eyes, and about 5’9 and weighs about 165 pounds.
The names of the men murdered this morning in Yazoo City have not yet been released. The argument that led to the quadruple homicide is believed to have started on West 11th street, outside the saloon known as Club 66. The hostility is believed to have spilled over to a nearby apartment complex around 1:30, with gunshots fired, leaving two men dead at the scene. The two others that were taken to UMMC were also pronounced dead. The suspect being sought is from Yazoo city and has a prior criminal record.
