MERIDIAN, Miss.–A wreck Wednesday night on I-59 in Meridian killed two people. Several cars were involved. Police have not discussed how the wreck happened.
WTOK-TV reported that one person who died was male and the other female, according to Coroner Clayton Cobbler. Their IDs had not been released as of Thursday morning.
It happened about 8 o’clock, and shut down the south bound lanes while the accident was being cleaned up.
