BILOXI, Miss.–A Saturday night bike ride on a Harley turned into tragedy when the motorcycle hit a Jeep that turned in front of it on Hwy. 90 in Biloxi, police said. A man and a woman were both riding the bike. Both of them died.
News Mississippi’s Gulf Coast operation, WOSM, reported the 2000 Harley Davidson was being driven by 49-year-old Greg Hines of Biloxi and the passenger was 48-year-old Jeri Lacour of Ocean Springs.
The two were going west on Hwy. 90 about 8 o’clock when a Jeep Wrangler turned north off of 90 in front of them.
Hines died at the scene and Lacour died just a short time later at Biloxi Regional Medical Center.
The two were wearing helmets, but according to police, the one Hines was wearing was not DOT approved.
