GULFPORT, Miss.- Somehow it’s always the man that gets punished, even in a fight between two women. 19-year-old Dapronica Lenoir was arrested Wednesday after a fight between she and another woman led to a shooting.
Sergeant Damon McDaniel, of the Gulfport Police Department says that the women were arguing during the day on Tuesday.
“Miss Lenoir brandished a firearm handgun, and pointed it at the female, but did not discharge it,” McDaniel said. “And then she later leaves. A short time later, Miss Lenoir returns to that residence where she had the physical altercation with the female and discharged the weapon towards the female, striking a male victim, and struck him to the face.”
She then fled the scene. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The next day, she turned herself in to the Gulfport Police Department, and was transported to the Harrison County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
