PURVIS, Miss. – A Lamar County woman pleaded guilty Friday to cyber-stalking her daughter’s ex-boyfriend.
Keri Ford, 38, was sentenced to three years non-adjudicated probation. According to the indictment returned against her in February, Ford “did willfully, unlawfully, intentionally and feloniously electronically communicate to another repeated for the purpose of harassing any person;… and did repeatedly electronically communicate with Joseph Barrett, 19, for the purpose of harassing him.”
Barrett died September 4 of last year from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His family filed charges against Ford.
