A woman has been taken into custody for allegedly sneaking contraband into a Mississippi jail.
The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office reports that Quataeja Vanburen brought marijuana and an electric device into the regional correctional facility during a recent visitation. She was promptly detained.
Following Vanburen’s arrest, the YCSO announced that deputies conducted a shakedown at the jail. Authorities located several cell phones, chargers, homemade weapons, marijuana, and various other contraband.
