JACKSON, Miss. — Getting home for the holidays could be a problem if you are flying.
Two flights at the state’s largest airport were canceled early Monday because of weather problems in Texas. And with more bad weather expected to move this way, more flights could be in jeopardy. “What you would need to do if you flight is cancelled, is stay in touch with your specific airline and look for information on all legs of the flight,” said Wendy Campbell, spokesperson for the Jackson Medger Wiley Evers International Airport. “And when you are making plans to travel, give yourself room in your schedule for those weather related interruptions.”
You can check for any cancellations or delays on your air carrier’s website.
