One Mississippi Match 5 player hit the $50,000 jackpot on Tuesday night after purchasing the winning ticket containing numbers 9-13-19-27-32.
The player, which purchased the ticket from Shell on Holly Bush Road in Brandon, has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize at Mississippi Lottery Corporation’s headquarters in Flowood.
The last Mississippi Match 5 jackpot was hit on Saturday, with the grand prize totaling over $143,000. The ticket was purchased from Union Junction in Union and matched the winning numbers of 6-8-10-23-30.
Now, the jackpot for Thursday’s drawing has reset to an estimated $50,000.
As for other lottery drawings, Wednesday’s jackpot for the Powerball is up to an estimated $340 million with an estimated cash value of $175.5 million. The jackpot for Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $281 million with an estimated cash value of $145.2 million.
