Although no one won the Powerball jackpot for Monday night’s drawing, one Mississippi player walked away with $150,000 after matching four out of five white balls.
The player purchased the ticket from Fuel Time 4 on North Siwell Road in Jackson, tripling their initial win of $50,000 after selecting the Power Play option for an additional dollar. The winning numbers were 12-31-47-58-60 with a Powerball of 23 and a Power Play number of 3.
One $500,000 winning Powerball ticket, which was purchased from the Broadway Mart in McComb on Aug. 13, 2022, still remains unclaimed. Only 17 days remain for this player to claim their winnings.
The next Powerball drawing will be on Wednesday, January 25, with the jackpot sitting at an estimated $526 million.
Tuesday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is up to an estimated $31 million, with the Mississippi Match 5 drawing rising to $511,000. This is the fifth-largest Mississippi Match 5 jackpot to date.
