Tonight, clear skies with lows around 14 to 15. Again very cold at night with wind chill readings around 4 below to only 1 above zero.
In South Mississippi, there is a hard freeze warning in effect until noon on Tuesday, as well as a wind chill advisory in effect from 8 p.m. this evening, to 9 a.m. Tuesday. Today, mostly sunny skies for the first day of the new year. Highs will be in the mid-30s and the lowest wind chill readings are ranging from 3 to 8 in the morning. Tonight, mostly clear with lows around 15 to 16. Wind chill readings are remaining frigid around zero to 5 above zero.
