After a chilly weekend across the state, things are warming up a bit in the Magnolia state.
In North Mississippi, Monday will see patchy frost in the morning, but that will go away when the sun comes out and highs will near 70 during the heat of the day. At night the lows will drop down to the lower to mid-40s with mostly clear skies.
In Central Mississippi, much the same as North Mississippi. Monday again seeing patchy frost in the morning but the sun will take it away. Highs will be warming up to the lower 70s and tonight the skies will be clear with lows in the mid-40s at night.
In South Mississippi, Monday is warmer and sunny. Again, expect some areas of frost in the morning. Highs are forecast as being in the lower to mid-70s during the heat of the day and at night the lows will dip down into the upper 40s.
