After Saturday’s win over Texas A&M, Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorhead said he felt he had lost his identity as a play-caller, but he felt that he had regained that mojo calling the game that led to a 28-13 Bulldog win and Nick Fitzgerald grabbing a school record sixth SEC Offensive Player of the Week award. At Monday’s press conference, Moorhead delved further into that thinking, saying that he felt he and his team had been reacting to situations far too often this season, and going forward, the Bulldogs would be the ones who dictates the game to their opponents.
