With the Central Mississippi midnight lightning storm behind us, we’re looking forward to what Memorial Day has in store.
Storm-wise, you may not be out of the woods just yet. There’s still a lingering chance of severe weather for Central through Southeast Mississippi to see some rough weather, mostly this afternoon through the late evening hours. Damaging winds and hail up to quarter size are the main threats.
The National Weather Service predicts that this could be a stormy week ahead, with at least a chance of showers and thunderstorms lasting through Thursday.
News Mississippi will continue to follow the weather for you.
