Mississippi State brought both quarterbacks who saw the field on Saturday to the podium on Tuesday night, as preparation for Kansas State continues. Both Tommy Stevens and Garrett Shrader appear to be ready should their name be called by Joe Moorhead to take on the Wildcats.

Mississippi State star running back Kylin Hill also spoke about this weekend’s matchup with an eye towards last season, when he torched the Kansas State defense for 217 yards rushing.

Grad transfer wide receiver Isaiah Zuber spoke to the media for the first time on Tuesday, and this matchup has his attention, as it was Kansas State that he left to come to Starkville.

There was no confirmation by either quarterback as to who would get the starting nod on Saturday, and it seems likely that will be a game time announcement. MSU takes on Kansas State this Saturday with an 11:00 AM kickoff.
