Ole Miss Basketball held its media day on Tuesday. Kermit Davis, Breein Tyree and Devontae Shuler previewed the upcoming season, the health of Blake Hinson and more.

— Hinson is dealing with what is being classified as a blood abnormality. He was diagnosed with the ailment in August when Hinson returned home to Florida before school started back. Hinson began to feel ill during workouts and went to the doctor where the blood work showed the irregularity.
“He is improving,” Davis said. “We are waiting on more tests to come back, but he is improving and we hope to possibly have Blake back in the next 2-3 weeks.”
Davis did not go into any further detail as far as Hinson’s specific condition but hopes to have him back for the start of the season.
Tyree and Shuler talked about life after Terence Davis, how this team is deeper than a year ago and how they’ve improved their games this offseason.
