For the second week in a row, Mississippi State was unable to put together a full scrimmage, instead opting to work on situational football with drills focused on down and distance ranging from all areas of the field. We spoke to Coach Joe Moorhead after practice ended, to get this thoughts on what happened today, and what Bulldog fans can expect next weekend at the Spring Game.

Of note, Moorhead said that it is very possible next week that the spring game will not be a full scrimmage, and could be more like the two practices I have gotten to view the last two weekends. That would make for interesting viewing for the fans, without the true “game” nature people are accustomed to seeing on Super Bulldog Weekend. Moorhead is hopeful that it will all work out by next Saturday.
