Mississippi State is wrapping up its bowl practice here in Starkville before beginning their Christmas break and then heading to Nashville for the Music City Bowl. Coach Joe Moorhead met with the media to discuss the last day of work here on campus before the team takes off. Here’s a couple of tidbits….
– Coach Chris Marve has left Mississippi State for a position at Florida State.
– Garrett Shrader has been named as the starter for the bowl game, Tommy Stevens will be available.
– Senior safety Brian Cole II has opted not to play in the bowl game and will immediately begin his prep for the 2020 NFL Draft.
