Coming off their first losing streak of the season, Mississippi State was anxious to clean up some of the issues they suffered last weekend against LSU. The Bulldogs looked much cleaner tonight, as they raked 19 hits for a 21-8 win over UL-Monroe. No surprise, Jake Mangum led the parade with a 5-6 night, as every Bulldog starter sans Gunner Halter had at least one base knock. We spoke to Coach Chris Lemonis after the game, as well as first baseman Tanner Allen, who showed signs of breaking his slump with a first inning solo home run.
