Nearing the end of an experience they’ve described as a “hug from the world,” Chapel Hart had the America’s Got Talent audience up on their feet yet again Tuesday night during the show’s season finale.

The country music trio out of Poplarville made up of sisters Danica and Devynn Hart as well as their cousin Trea Swindell went with an inspiring original titled “American Pride.”

Simon Cowell, usually the most critical of the judges, was impressed by not only the performance itself but also the timing.

“If this had been an audition, I would have stopped you afterwards and gone, ‘Let’s go back to that chorus. Let’s do it a capella so I can hear that lyric and that melody, because the chorus, the lyric were beautiful,’” Cowell said. “Bearing in mind after 9/11, what a beautiful message to send out on the most important night of your life.”

Fellow judge Howie Mandel replied, saying that he felt some of the vocals were off – a comment in which Cowell snapped back.

“No, I think that chorus is absolutely beautiful.”

Mixed critiques from the judges aside, if you think Chapel Hart should be this year’s winner of America’s Got Talent, you can vote up to 10 times using the AGT official app or by logging on to NBC’s website. Voting closes Wednesday at 6 a.m. CT.
