NEW ORLEANS, LA — Police finally caught up with “Memphis,” and no, this is not the city just up i-55. They say “Memphis” is the “pimp” name of Stephen Carter. He is a wanted in Mississippi for missing a court appearance.
Carter was arrested in New Orleans this week after a transgender woman said he hit her with brass knuckles, knocked her out with a gun, and stole from her purse. A judge set his bond at $100,000.
Carter is being extradited to Mississippi for court in September.
