Ridgeland–He was on the run and on the most wanted list, but Tavon Dorsey-Hurtt was caught Thursday afternoon–and he was hiding in an attic.

WLBT reports that with the help of a private investigator Ridgeland Police were able to catch 24 year-old Tavon Dorsey-Hurtt in an attic in South Jackson.
Dorsey-Hurtt was wanted for felony false pretense. He had told a store clerk that he was a Jackson Police officer so she would cash checks. Dorsey-Hurtt managed to get $900 out of that store.
Tavon Dorsey-Hurtt was found in an attic on Archer Avenue in South Jackson.
