JACKSON, Miss. – TreeHouse Foods Inc. is recalling some of its macaroni and cheese cup products out of concerns that certain items may be tainted with salmonella.
There have been no reports of illness, but the company is worried that the milk powder used in the product could have been tainted with the bacteria.
The products distributed nation-wide include:
Great Value Macaroni & Cheese Original Cups
Cheese Club Express Mac Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
Big Win Original Macaroni and Cheese Dinner.
Salmonella can be fatal to the young and elderly. Others can expect gastrointestinal issues.
Customers who have purchased the product are being urged return the item to the store in-which they were purchased for a full refund.
