Less than one week remains for any Mississippi resident looking to register to vote in the 2024 Primary Election.
The registration is currently set to close on Monday, February 12 as the upcoming election — which includes the office of President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Representative — is scheduled to take place on March 12.
Applicants looking to register before the deadline can do the following:
- Register in person at their county circuit clerk’s office by February 12
- Mail in new voter registration application with a postmark of February 12
Circuit clerk offices will also be open on Saturday, February 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for in-person registration. Individual circuit clerk information may be found on My Election Day by entering a physical address.
Voters who have not yet reached the age of 18 at the time of the March Primary Election may vote in the Primary Election so long as they reach the age of 18 on or before the date of the 2024 General Election.
Residents can also verify their voter registration status or update their registration information online to ensure they will be able to cast a vote during the Primary Election in March.
