MERIDIAN, Miss.–It was a wild weekend in the queen city with violence in several different places.
The most notable crime according to WTOK was a carjacking by two kids on Saturday night.
The report says the 12-year-old and 14-year-old put a gun in a woman’s face and took her purse and keys.
The two jumped in her car and took off, eventually being caught by the police with the vehicle and charges are now pending.
At least two other armed robberies happened over the weekend in Meridian with one of the victims getting hit in face with a handgun during the robbery.
No arrests have been made in either of those two crimes and Meridian PD is asking you to call Crime stoppers at 601-485-1860 if you know anything.
