A man and his grandson have been identified as the victims of a plane crash that occurred in Oktibbeha County Wednesday afternoon.
Gary Dedeaux and his grandson, Luke Reed, were killed when, according to the Starkville Daily News, a T-6 aircraft crashed between HWY 45 and Old West Point Road around 3:30 p.m.
Dedeaux is a former West Point Selectman and business owner and Reed was an 8th grader at Oak Hill Academy.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
