UPDATE: Vicksburg woman sentenced for supporting ISIS

UPDATE: Jaelyn Young has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

ORIGINAL STORY VICKSBURG, Miss. – Jaelyn Young the Vicksburg woman who along with her fiancé  tried to board a plane to join ISIS, is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday.

Young pleaded guilty back in March to one count of trying to provide material support to a terrorist group.

Her fiance, Muhammad Dakhlalla, plead guilty to similar charges and will be sentenced on August 24.

Young could get 20 years in prison, pay $250,000 in fines and be on probation for the rest of her life.

The couple was arrested at the Columbus airport in 2015. They had tickets to Istanbul.
