A Vicksburg man will spend five decades in prison for producing and possessing child pornography.
According to court documents, 43-year-old Samuel Boyd Slade, Jr., produced images and videos depicting minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The sexual misconduct by Slade is reported to have started in January 2022.
In addition to his term of imprisonment, Slade was ordered to pay $6,000 in restitution to victims and a $6,000 assessment under the Amy, Vicky, and Andy Child Pornography Victim Assistance Act of 2018.
Slade is sentenced to 50 years behind bars, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. He is also ordered to register as a sex offender.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Glenda R. Haynes.
