JACKSON, MISS– As kids are getting ready to go back to school, parents are taking the little ones to update shots. But maybe a few parents need a booster as well.
“There’s been numerous studies that have shown that if children and adults stay on schedule with vaccinations,” says Dr. Randy Easterling, “it could prevent many diseases that could end in death.”
Dr. Randy Easterling is a general practice doctor in Vicksburg, and he says that kids aren’t the only ones who need their shots. Adults also need vaccines.
“It’s important to have a family doctor who has all of your immunization records,” says Easterling.
There are numerous vaccinations that the Center for Disease Control recommends for children and adults.
