Miss.- The National Weather service is predicting that Mississippi will see another wave of storms just as severe as Friday night’s rolling through this evening.
10:39 p.m.– As the tornado warnings dissipate for the night the National Weather Service says there are a few more storm systems they’ll be watching throughout the evening.
10:00 p.m.- The NWS issued a Tornado Warning for Neshoba and Newton Counties until 10:45 p.m.
The storm that could produce a tornado was over Stratton at 9:58 p.m. and moving northeast at 35 miles per hour.
Expect half dollar size hail and potential damage to mobile homes, roofs, windows, and vehicles.
9:52 p.m.- The storm cell that has been effecting the central portion of the state seems to be loosing steam. NWS confirmed that even with Tornado warnings released there has been no confirmation of a system touching down in the state or severe damage reported.

8:37 p.m.- Tornado Warning issued for Copiah, Franklin, Lincoln, Adams and Jefferson Counties until 9:30. Expect winds up to 30 miles per hour and half dollar size hail.
If you are in the area seek shelter immediately.
8:30 p.m.- Radar shows a storm system moving through the central portion of the state. Thunderstorm warnings in effect for the following areas until 9:00 p.m.
Perry, Jefferson, Rankin, Hinds, Warren, and Adams Counties.
Storms are expected to hit the southwestern part of the state by 6:00 p.m., lasting until close to 9:00 p.m. This area includes Natchez and Vicksburg, and a threat of severe weather has been issued.
Residents should prepare for tennis ball size hail, strong winds, and the potential for a few tornadoes.
Moving later into the night the storm will cover the central portion of the state from Greenwood to Jackson. The NWS does expect the threats to have died down some, with smaller size hail, less winds, but still the possibility of tornadoes.
The eastern portion of the state won’t see any significant rain or wind till roughly 10:00 p.m.. Hail is still a threat but it is estimated that the weather will be less of a threat by this point.
