JACKSON, Miss.- Authorities have captured the second of two murder suspects who had escaped the Raymond detention center.
Friday night, police apprehended 29-year-old Malcom Jamal Landfair at an undisclosed location.
Thursday afternoon, Officers located Gerome Moore at his home in South Jackson after he and Malcolm Landfall escaped, Thursday.
BACKGROUND:
Thursday, two murder suspects escaped from the Hinds County Detention Center in Raymond. Authorties began looking for Gerome Moore and Malcolm Landfair. Sheriff Victor Mason said the two escaped out of a hole in the wall.
Authorities still don’t know what they used to create the hole.
Moore is being held on several carjacking charges and for the murder of Carolyn Temple. This is not his first time breaking out, last year he and three inmates broke out of the Downtown jail.
Landfair is also facing a charge for the murder of Christopher Catchings. Catchings was found shot to death in his car in Jackson and Landfair was arrested in December.
