While the owners and the players can’t figure out how to get their season started, the 2020 MLB Draft has been completed. Like everything else in the world, this year’s draft has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically, the MLB Draft consists of 40 rounds, but this year’s draft featured just 5.
The first round was completed on Wednesday and rounds 2-5 took place on Thursday. Now that the draft has ended, teams can sign an unlimited number of undrafted free agents for a signing bonus of up to $20,000.
