The Federal Bureau of Investigation picked up two men and charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Steven Paul Salmon, 55, and Hector Serrano-Cruz, 41, were picked up on June 13, 2017, as the result of an investigation done by the FBI.
Just a week before their arrest the South Mississippi Metro Enforcement Team seized eight ounces of methamphetamine on Tucker Road in Jackson County. An investigation began and their uncovered an additional three pounds of meth in Gulfport.
The next wee, June 12, 2017, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics set up surveillance of the alleged traffickers.
Salmon and Serrano-Cruz were then arrested by agents on Community Road in Gulfport.
