TUPELO, MISS– The Tupelo Elvis Festival isn’t until June, so there’s plenty of time left to plan your trip.
Jessica Hollinger with the Tupelo Downtown Association says they’re excited about this year’s line up.
“We’ve got Paul Thorn,” says Hollinger, “he’s of Northeast Mississippi, so it’s like bringing him home.”
Of course the festival boasts several Elvis tribute artists, as well as a competition between them. This year’s big headliner is Sara Evans.
“She’s getting back out there, touring again,” says Hollinger, “we’re glad the Tupelo Elvis Festival is one of her stops on the tour.”
The festival will be held at BancorpSouth Arena and Fairpark, June 4-7th. Tickets go on sale April 17th. Tickets are $15 dollars for that Friday and $25 for that Saturday, but for a limited time, two-day passes can be bought for $25. Claim your tickets on their website tupeloelvisfestival.com
Friday, the Fairpark stage will feature headliner Paul Thorn of Tupelo with Memphis Jones opening for him.
Saturday, Grenada native and country music artist Charlie Worsham will open for headliner Sara Evans.
The Fairpark stage will also kick off each night with an Elvis Tribute Artist.
