TUPELO, Miss. – Neon Pig Cafe in Tupelo now holds the title of “Best Burger in the Country.”
According to Thrillist.com, Neon Pig’s “smash burger” beat-out San Francisco’s Causwells “americana” burger, by receiving more than 56 percent of the votes.
Trish McCluney is co-owner and says they feel, “ecstatic, blessed and humbled” by the win.
The competition started out with 33 restaurants vying for number one.
McCluney says they’ll throw a party to celebrate the award but have yet to set a date.
