More rain across north and central Mississippi again today. Heavy, humid air is mixing with a front that’s bellying into the southeast this week and causing showers to spring up across the state. The tradeoff, however: MUCH cooler temperatures. Some places may even struggle to reach the 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday if conditions work out just right.
The Pine Belt expecting plenty of activity today as well. Showers and the occasional rumble of thunder marking your Tuesday with highs in the mid 80s.
Don’t feel left out across the Gulf Coast, either. You’re looking at rain cropping up today, tonight and continuing throughout the rest of the week as well.
