TUPELO, Miss. – Officials are trying to sell Tupelo to the British.
Tupelo Tourism Officials will be spending a week in England next month with the hopes of attracting those from the UK over to Elvis’ birthplace.
The city has been invited to take part in the “Elvis at the 02” which is being called the largest Elvis Exhibit ever in Europe.
Tupelo Convention and Visitor Bureau Director Neal McCoy told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that the exhibit has been so successful that they’ve extended it another three months.
