JACKSON, Miss. — Voter integrity group, True the Vote has refiled their lawsuit along with 22 other Mississippians against Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, the Mississippi Republican Party, and several county election commissions in the Southern Mississippi U.S. District Court.
The suit says the defendants violated the voting rights act when the plaintiffs tried to gain access voting records from the June 23 senate runoff. This comes a day after True the Vote backed out from a suit they filed in the northern district after they were questioned by a judge why they filed it there to begin with.
