ORLANDO, Fla.–Florida residents and people along the east coast are getting raedy for the winds and rain associated with Tropical Storm Andrea. The storm is not headed this way and will likely stay well to the east of the Magnolia State.
News Mississippi will monitor any storm that enters the Gulf and any storm that has the potential to affect Mississippi.
Tropical storm warnings were in effect for the west coast of Florida and that was where the National Hurricane Center expected the storm to make landfall Thursday afternoon.
