Workforce development proposal gets Mississippi ready for more and better-paying jobs
Monday night, Treasurer David McRae applauded Governor Tate Reeves’ inaugural State of the State address, highlighting the governor’s workforce development plan as a much-needed step to ensure Mississippi is ready for more and better-paying jobs:
“Governor Reeves laid out an aggressive and substantive plan for the future of Mississippi, particularly when it comes to workforce development. At Treasury, we are excited to support this agenda by helping more Mississippians save for their college degree and facilitating the community investments required to bring in new job creators. Now is the time to invest in a strong foundation on which tomorrow’s workforce can stand.”
