JACKSON, Miss.–A train ran off its tracks Tuesday in Jackson.
Luckily no one was hurt according to WAPT after the nine cars were left laying on their sides.
The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on a bridge where some construction has been ongoing near Gallatin and Monument streets.
The owner of the train Kansas City Southern has a crew in route to the site to get the rail fixed and the cars back upright according to the report.
A call to the Mississippi Department of Safety and the Mississippi Highway Patrol who reported the accident had not been returned at the time publishing the article.
