A tornado touched down in Walthall County Tuesday morning. The Walthall County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that there has been storm damage from the severe weather.
“It flipped a house trailer, and took down some trees,” said Angele Tullos a dispatcher with the Walthall County Sheriff’s Department.
Tullos said that while there was some major damage, no injuries were reported.
She added that Sheriff’s Deputies, the volunteer fire department, and the light company were all on the scene to help clear the roads and restore the power.
